Communication Goals

The communication goals of the poster are

· For the viewer to get a sense of what the Hospitality House of Charlotte does, which is temporarily house out of towners who are seeking medical attention or visiting family members in the hospital.

· Help those who don’t require the service of HHoC to sympathize with those who do need the service.

· Inform those who may need the service of its existence.

· Give volunteers an idea of why they should care to help.

The communication goals of the logo are

· To assure the viewer of the good will and nature of HHoC.

· Emit emotions of warmth, security, and comfort.

The communication goals of the brochure are

· To inform the people of HHoC’s accommodations.

· To inform the people of HHoC’s night and day times.

· To inform the people of HHoC’s prices.

· To inform the people of HHoC’s story.

· To inform the people of HHoC’s requirements.

I want my viewers to

· Get some sort of emotional response from the poster/logo/brochure.

· Be informed of HHoC.

· Volunteer at the HHoC

· Donate money to the HHoC

· Feel at ease that HHoC helps those in need.

· Acknowledge its existence.

Ideas for 5th Project

· Video of HHoC

· Interactive Flash media going through the history of Graphic Design. (Okay, it’s called a video game)

· Personal Portfolio Website

· Cooperative endeavor

· Motion Graphics of some sort; guess that could tie in with the video.

· Find out if HHoC having a special event they need help with.
